Casa del Mar

After several years of building and setting up our hostel we moved into Casa del mar – our house directly by the ocean.

Our house comfortably sleeps 9 people:

Master Bedroom: 1 King Bed

Guest Room: 1 Double Bed

Children’s Room: 1 Double Bed, 2 Single Beds.

Our house is set on the most beautiful spot of the Venao Cove property.

In order to be able to travel and see other parts of the world and despite the fact that we absolute love living here we have decided to rent our beautiful family home while we go on our trips.

We believe this to be a wonderful and unique opportunity, especially for people with kids, like us. We know what families look for and that they will find it all here, at Casa del Mar.

Living room/kitchen:

Walking in through the main door people are always impressed by the generous open-plan living room and kitchen.

One is immediately treated with the sound and view of the big blue pacific ocean.

Everything is very spacious and our couch is huge, which makes for great family time in the evenings.

The large kitchen is a tribute to Leaf being a passionate cook. One can find everything there to prepare all meals at home.

Bedrooms:

Our home features three bedsrooms, all eqipped with Air Conditioning.

Upstairs are the Master King bedroom as well as one double room, both with en suite bathrooms.

Needless to say they both have pristine ocean views and are filled with the sound of the sea– they really have incredible energy. The master room also features a walk in closet.

Downstairs is the very spacious kids room, equipped with toys, games and children books in english and german.

other things to note

Grocery shopping: Most people do their shopping in Pedasi, a town that is located about half an hour to 45 minute driving from Venao – depending on the condition of the road that gets fixed once a year. Pedasi is also where you will find the closest ATM. In case you need something minor we sell basic groceries at the hostel reception, there is also a basic grocery shop in Canas, a ten minute drive away.

Pets: We have pets – a very social cat that will love a good cuddle as well as 2 gold fish. They will need to be fed once a day.

Personal belongings: We have made an effort to remove all of our personal belongings, but there will be some of our things in the house. We have put them aside and out of sight as much as possible to give you privacy and plenty of space for your personal belongings.
